HUDSON and the new Yankee Stadium

HUDSON was selected to provide labor supervision for two events at Yankee Stadium: THE ALLSTATE 2010 PRESIDENTS CONFERENCE and the TOP RANK BOXING EVENT FEATURING MIGUELl COTTO V YURI FOREMAN. The latter event enjoyed the honor of being the inaugural boxing match held in the new Yankee Stadium and the first hosted by the Yankees since 1976 when Muhammad Ali defeated Ken Norton. HUDSON oversaw the labor transforming the baseball home of Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera into a corporate stage for Allstate and a boxing ring for Top Rank complete with overhead roofs and on-field seating. Over a hundred T.P.U. Local 1 stagehands and I.B.T. Local 817 teamsters loaded in and installed the flooring, staging, equipment, and decor before seamlessly disassembling and loading out the stadium less than 24 hours later. Their expertise and experience helped return the field to game-day playing conditions just a few days later.
